S4148T-ON VLT Configuration

Hey , I am looking to check how to configure the VLT (Virtual Link Trunking) concept for my new 7 S4148T-ON switches . Any clear guide/documentation on this?

VLT is strictly a two‑switch technology per VLT domain.

  • One VLT domain = exactly 2 switches
  • You cannot make a single VLT domain with all 7 switches
  • With 7 S4148T‑ON switches, you’ll typically design:
    • 3 VLT pairs (6 switches)
    • 1 standalone switch or connect the 7th switch upstream via L3
