second reboot fails on 5224
We have a 5224.
Setting up the connection with hyperterminal and resetting the switch to the factory defaults - everything works fine. But after turning off the power and restarting the switch boot process stops at the position "found unit ". No connections (serial, ethernet) at all, no leds (but power). Waiting about 5 hours the reboot process goes again. Whats wrong?

Sounds strange, I've never seen this before. Please capture a log of the boot process showing this problem (if it happens again) and post the log. Maybe we can see something.

This sounds like a HW problem. Here is a quote from our HW engineer - "It looks like the CPU is having trouble reading the device type of the switch ASICs on the PCI bus."
You should contact your Dell support representative for further help.
