Setting VLAN via SNMP on Dell Network N1548
I'm back after six years, with the same issue but now on a new switch... I bought 60 of these switches under the premise that they worked the same as the old PowerConnect 5548 and while they seem to do just that, I'm having an issue setting VLANs over SNMP.

When I attempt the same method as before, it seems to accept it but nothing happens. See the "1" on the third position of the Hex-STRING. I'm trying to set it to 0; the string gets returned with no errors, yet it's still a "1" when I read it again.

I'm running software version 6.3.1.8.

Hmm, I just updated to 6..1.11 and it does seem to accept the snmpset command and store it. However, the port configuration shown on the CLI does not match the OID values stored.
For example, I had Port 12 set for VLAN 128.
Removing that bit from the Untagged OID (4.3.1.4) shows the VLAN now listed as 'tagged' even though the Tagged OID does not show that bit set as on.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually have a ticket opened with Dell and they've confirmed it's a bug where the tagged VLAN OID cannot be modified. They've fixed it for the next release which currently has no ETA.

Currently the newest firmware was 6.3.1.13 but have not found any relevant comments for your issue .
