SFP

Hi

I have some DELL Switches - DELL S5232F-ON, DELL S5248F-ON, DELL 3048-ON

I want to connect a device (laptop) using copper 1000Mbps and I know I need DELL SFP-1G-T.

However I don't know which one to choose out of the following:

DELL Part #407-BBOS

DELL Part #407-10439 (Customer install)

Please can someone advise ?

thanks

So basically I can purchase either of these and they will work ?

Why is there a difference in the part number ? I notice that there is also a cost difference

Hello @KerrJ,

Yes both of them should work as per @DELL-Young E verificaiton. I can't really tell the difference. Maybe there is a reason from Commercial department. But honestly technical support does not have access to that kind of information.

Regards.
