On the existing N3048ET you can run the command "show supported switchtype" which will list the switch models that are allowed to join that stack.
On the N3048ET you can do a MixedStacking with N30xx & N31xx but not with the N32xx
When you download the firmware .zip file it will have a .pdf file that will list the stacking compatibilities
You best bet is to attach the new N3248TE as a standalone with a duel homed port-channel to each of the member switches in your existing N3048ET stack.
