3300 Wireless Router

I just upgraded by Netgear router to the Netgear n600. I can no longer print to my Dell 926 All in One. I tried following the "Setting Up Your Printer" Instructions specifically steps 11 to 12 C but I receive an error message stating that the printer adapter was not able to join my network. Thanks for any help you can provide.

zampian,

The 3300 will connect to the 2.4GHz b/g band of the wireless router.

Since this is a dual bank router, make a zampian_G SSID and use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings I use channel 11. The you'll need to setup the 3300, like it was when it was new. Setting up the Dell Wireless Printer Adapter 3300 All 3 lights should be green on the 3300, with the printer turned on. You'll need to run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print jobs from the queue, then download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

Restart your computer. Make sure the printer was removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal

Download the proper drivers. Install the drivers, choose network and follow the instructions.

Links to the patch/drivers can be found at...

Your other network will be zampian_N SSID and use similar settings and everything should connect.

Unfortunately these steps did not work. I still receive the same error stating that the adaptor cannot conntct to my network. I read somewhere that a similar problem was corrected by resetting the adaptor.  How is this done? Any other ideas?

zampian,

Run the setup again, try connecting to a neighbour network and fake the password. Then it will fail, then try your wireless G network, again.

zampian,

With the printer turned on, are all three light green in the 3300?

Yes, all three light are on.

To make matters worse, I tried connecting to the printer via USB so my son can print homework and that did not work either.  Seems hopeless. :(

zampian,

All three light on the 3300, then the 3300 is not the problem.

On the first computer, run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print jobs from the queue.

Make sure the printer is not connected with the usb cable to this computer.

Download and run the patrch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.

Restart your computer. Make sure the printer was removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal

With the computer online, download and install the proper drivers, choose network(even if you have a desktop), then follow the instructions. The printer should install and find the wireless printer, then folloow the instructions.
