I am having this issue also, everything appears to be up to date but devices aren't working and error code 54 showing on Bluetooth device - Dell XPS 9510. Restarting not solving anything for me, not found a solution yet.
I had also the same issue on my XPS 15 9500 laptop. It occured after carrying out the latest Windows Update.
The same solution worked for me as for some others here in the discussion: Roll Back the Bluetooth driver to the last one - in my case to 22.130.0.2. One restart after the RollBack and everything seems to work fine again... hopefully it stays like this.
I hope also that @DELL-Cares notices the issue and fixes the problem with the newest driver update / Windows compatibility, so that it won't occur again with the next automatic Win-update.
@T3knik Hi, this fixed it for me, but this is probably temporary right? Did you ever figure out what was wrong with the USB bus and/or find a permanent fix for the problem?
@T3knik Wow, this was very smart! Now, I can restart the Bluetooth without having to restart my laptop. Thank you! This is a chronic issue, and somebody at Dell needs to provide a long-term solution. I might try to roll back the drivers as others have.
Solved the issue on my XPS 15 9510. I first installed latest drivers which was 22.250.0 but that didn't solve my problem. So I uninstalled the bluetooth device from Device manager then when I restarted, I saw that my bluetooth is working again, and the driver is set to: 22.170.0.2.
@T3knik Thank you for posting! This solved my long standing very frustrating Dell problem. As this is a known issue that has a big adverse impact on the Dell experience, I don't understand why they won't fix it.

I also solved my issue easily by rolling back the Intel Wireless Bluetooth Driver to version 22.40.0.2
My Bluetooth has been rock solid ever since (on my dell precission 5560 laptop).

@NorthernCoder
hi, can you help me? I'm using 5560 like you and have the same problem. Can you send me this 22.04.0.2 drive file? Best regards!

I appreciate the pointer to the updated drivers made by K1490.
I lost Bluetooth (Error Code 54) after a Win11 auto-update this weekend.
I updated to the latest on the Intel site (22.250.0.2), and Bluetooth is back humming along silently as it should.
Thanks HR

Mine is XPS 15 9510 and I had the same issue.
I followed the approach @K1490 shared, and it's fixed!
The only difference is that I got 22.250.0 from the website (the originally installed is also 22.170.0.2) in my case.
I've monitored for days, and it seems to be fixed totally.
This issue has not happened on my laptop.
Thanks for @K1490 's information!
