What is the full and exact text of the error message (spelling counts).  Have you checked your system for spyware with more than one antispyware program?

Try any other web browser (not IE version 6) to see if any works:

* IE version 7 Beta 2
* Bon Echo
* FireFox 1.5.03 newest patched
* Maxthon

Maxthon in particular usually gets me out of a jam when I can no longer work in IE. All are "free"

that's the exact message! Gave me the error error while connecting to the ie delr1svc.exe. Prgram needs to shut down. and then the rest of the stuff mentioned was at the bottom of the error message popup!

If the spelling is correct, then I can find absolutely nothing on this file.  This often suggests the presence of a virus or trojan that changes its file name.  If you are absolutely sure the spelling of the file name is correct, I would suggest that you go Here and follow the directions to download and run the analysis tool called HijackThis. Generate a log file, then open it and copy and paste the text of the log file in a message in the HijackThis forum where a HijackThis expert can offer advice on how to fix the problem.

BBraxton, I tried loading firefox and still didn't work...I'm going to just reload Internet explorer...I think that's the only way and then reload firefox. I like fox much better anyway!
