Cannot connect to network when re-docking

Question

Latitude D800, on cold boot when re-docking, the user can log in ok (Win XP, SP2), can browse web and can use Outlook, but cannot see all network drives. On reboot, network drives are then restored.  This happens consistently for some users, but not all.  Any suggestions?

Do the users have different levls of priviledges?
