The blue screen is too fast to save or read so I get more information from the XP event viewer.

Thanks in advance! :)

AndydnA,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

I performed a google search on your error and found this Microsoft knowledge base article.  The operating system for this is Windows Server 2003, however it may provide insight to why you are receiving it.

AndydnA,

I found another Microsoft article that's about troubleshooting Stop 0x0000000A errors in Windows XP. That's the error you're seeing. Skip down to the section entitled A Stop 0x0A Error After Windows XP Is Already Installed, and see if that helps.

DELL-BobT:

Well, thanks for your note, but the OS that is present on my machine is Windows XP Professional SP1! I think that there isn’t error in this!

jimw:

Mmmm… I’m at the starting point! :( Microsoft is always Microsoft… the article, that you suggest to me, discusses how to troubleshoot my stop error in Windows XP, but the reasons report in this article are to much! :(
Turn off many important features in the CMOS, remove all adapters and disconnect all hardware devices that are not absolutely required, etc, etc.
I have a notebook, and I don’t make many of the test reported in the Microsoft article.

The only think can help me to understand the possible error reasons is that I know now the meaning of the word “parameter1” in the error message.

A friend, resolved the same problem upgrading the chipset driver. He has a Centrino notebook like my Dell configuration, but it is not a Dell. I have try the same and I upgrade all my drivers and OS, but the error stay! :(

I trying… I testing...
