Dell 5537 ,problem with Wifi ? Going crazy !
Hello to all,
After so much time having this laptop i have a problem with it.
Last week i made some updates to windows 10 ,and from then the laptop stopped working the Wifi , i rolled back , and didn't work again.
So i made a clean install to windows 10 again ,nothing happened
I made clean install then to Windows 7 nothing happened again didn't have Wifi.
I was furious. So i searched the internet and i saw a lot of problems with this laptop on the Wifi card, and some people even returned (inside their warranty ) the laptops back to the dealer for check, and they couldn't even figure out what happened so they replaced laptops.
I am outside warranty .
I opened the laptop cleaned everything,i even changed wifi card from another laptop and yet again the same thing "turn on the switch".
I even changed the "saving more power" from the properties.
Guess what, LAN network also doesn't work when i try to install the drivers it says " turn on lan from deep sleep mode" the laptop is working in maximize power, without battery ,and i even checked bios and updated also ,there was nothing there also.
What the *** am i suppose to do ?Throw it from the window ?

Hello
Sorry to hear about your issues sounds very painfull. What version of BIOS do you have?
Sound more like a hardware issue but I like to ask you couple things
- Does device manager show wireless adapter?
- are you able to download the drivers from another computer and load them on this laptop?
- did you download the hotkey utility that key combination turns wifi on / off? FN and F2 together?
Hope this helps
