I have a Dell E6420 running WIN7 32bit. It is running the Dell broadband utility. I am trying to find a way to keep the users from unselecting auto-connect in settings>config. I am looking for a registry key or something that can be done from the admin side to stop this. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!
In the above link please scroll down to “Configuring the Device Settings” section , select the device, select “Auto connect at start up “and click “OK”
Thank you for the information, but I'm wondering if there is a way to gray out the settings? I want to prohibit the users from making changes to these settings. Is there a registry key I can edit? Thank you
To my understanding, there is no registry key that can be used to gray out the settings. As this is a software with predefined settings, they cannot be grayed out completely. However, if you find any resolution on any blogs you may follow that.
