I don't know what netset is or why it is necessary, but have you tried uninstalling it?

In Windows, deleting software will not likely help.  You need to actually uninstall it.

Did you try Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs?

netset is a online tool of linksys. this tool will automatically configure the router based on the internet service provider setting. once you downloaded the software in your computer, it doesnt really save in your computer like other software such adobe, ms money etc. you can delete it on the same directory where you saved it. have you tried boot your computer using a safe mode? if not, tried that first.

after deleting the netset from my computer c drive, i have reboot my pc.  even tried using the safe mode and before i can do anything, my computer shuts down by itself again.

i have since reset the router for linksys wrt54g v 5 and switch off the main power plug.  right now, i am not sure how to resolve this issue for my computer since i have already deleted netset

any resolutions to resolve my problem is very much appreciated.

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode and using System Restore to restore your system to a state it was in before installing Netset?
