Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth driver for windows 8 X64

Hi friends

I installed windows 8 X64 build 9200 on dell inspiron N5010-D and it didn't recognized the Bluetooth. It also rejects its win7 driver due to known comparability issue. Where can I find the driver?

If the bluetooth tray icon shows in the system tray (bottom right of desktop) after installing the drivers, then it should be installed correctly.  I used the try icon to add a device (like dallascowboysworldchamps) and i was able to add my bluetooth mouse by clicking on the Add Device button when the Win 8 dialog came up.  I did not try through Win 8's dialog directly without the icon.  Maybe the icon sets the bluetooth into a discovery mode so it can find/pair devices?

I found that if you loaded bluetooth from control panel in devices and printers that it does not load properly, but if you load bluetooth driver by clicking on the notification icon on the desktop in the right hand corner of the desktop, and installing it from there that it loads correctly.

If you look into device manager is Bluetooth listed as one of the devices?

If it is listed in device manager does it have an yellow exclamation or a red X on it.

Ziv,

I checked the service manual and it stated that you would have had to have bought a wireless card with bluetooth.

Did you do so.

Was it setup in your previous Operating system.

Try going to the win64 folder on your hard drive and right click on inst.exe and run as administrator and see if that works.

I have a Dell XPS 1645, with the bluetooth Dell bluetooth module 370.

It doesn't works with Windows 8, and is not listed in the device manager. Also, when I press F2, is also not listed in the BIOS.

There is any update to make the bluetooth working again?

a driver for Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Minicard:

R246770

after you unzip it you have to go to :

my computer -c- dell -drivers-P4XW4-R246770-win64(or 34 depend what you have....)-inst.exe
