Hello again,

It's OK with information. Please find below link for drivers download page for Inspiron 6000.
You need to downlaod and install "(R) PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection" from "Intel-Driver" section and download and install (after driver) "(R) PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection" from "Intel-Patch/Upgrade" section

In case of questions you are welcome.

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > Wireless Zero Configuration (somewhere at the end of list, down side) > right mouse button click on it and > Properties

1. STOP

2. In field where is Automatic > Disable

Next after you finished

it finished installing but now i see a intelpro wireless icon in my tray that wasn't there before.  it's sitting next to the icon of a monitor with lines radiating from it that indicates my wireless network.  please explain and tell me if/why i need that additonal icon?  also, should i restart the machine?

I'm back,

1. Restarting - only if Windows say.

2. New icon - don't worry.

Do you familiar with windows setup and settings like Services and others???

And one more link (sorry). It's link for your 2350 hub user guide.
I think if you'll make with regards of this two guides you'll find your lost connection.
