help on wireless

i had dell 1150.  i just installled  windows vista,  everything is fine no conflict on any driver.  they reconized my wireless card, but i can not connect to the router.  window had detect the low signal.  my computer approx. 2 ft from router.  i dont know what happen.  the wireless cannnot connect.  anybody know what going on.  please helpppppp
