Hello,

Have you tried deleting all the bluetooth driver listings in Device Manager?

It may be that the system has too many drivers installed for bluetooth and deleting the current listing, then installing the latest one available from the Dell support pages, will help resolve this problem.

If that doesn't work you may want to check out our support article on resolving bluetooth issues.

Are you seeing this message only when resuming your laptop from sleep, or do you always see it?  Check out this fix for error code 43 from Microsoft if you're seeing it when system resumes from sleep mode.

Let me know if any of the above helps, and if not we'll see what else we can try to resolve the problem.

Thanks Todd,

My installed programs list shows two bluetooth related programs installed (screenshots attached):

a) widcomm bluetooth software

b) Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth(R) technology.

And when i check my device manager it shows ::

""Intel(R) Centrino(R) Bluetooth(R)3.0 + High Speed Adaptor"" with a yellow exclamation mark over it..

screenshot attached..

Now pls guide me what to remove and what to keep.

Hi,

In Device Manager remove the listing for Intel Centrino Wireless Bluetooth.  Then go into the Networking Adapters category, open it up, and look to see if there are any other driver listings for "bluetooth" listed, and remove those if they exist.

Hi Todd,

Thank you for the continuous support.

But if u look closely in my previous reply i have also attached the ""Device Manager"" and bluetooth installed drivers list screenshot. Pls have a look at it. The third  screenshot exactly shows what you have been asking.

Pls check and suggest the solution.

Hi,

Please remove the listing for Bluetooth in device manager, plus click open the Network Adapters category and delete any Bluetooth listings in there as well.
