Net Waiting
Hi,
My net waiting is not working now. I get the message "Not connected to v92 server" I know you have to have a v92 connection for it to work properly. But I was still getting disconnected before. The caller Id part wouldnt work but would still get disconnected. My fiance messed around with the pc one day and got the net waiting to work again. Well now it's not, and he has no clue what he did to fix the problem. Anyone else have a problem with net waiting working and then not working and was able to fix it?

GO to this web site you will see a V34 command will give you this error.( Look on top of page it states disable)I had same problem .I do not know what computer you have or modem ,I assume it has a V92 Modem since net waiting was working.I have a dim 8250 and my extra command is set at --S10=255-- and my net waiting works fine.
Im sure other commands work ,just do research on your model

What kind of mdem do you have? Is it a BCM? Did you download the new driver from Windows Updates Critical Updates? (many people did without realizing it).
The new drivers are either 3.5.24 or 3.5.25... .... If you have a BCM modem with those drivers, modem on hold feature is done through the drivers. Let me know if more informationonthis would help - I don't want to type and then have you say you have a different modem......
