networking printers

I have a Dell Demension desktop. Ive been able to set my Compaq notebook to share my dell printer, but can't set my iMac G5 to read my printer. Does anyone know how to do this. I have tried all. Believe or not I have even called Apple tech support and they cant help. These are the steps I have taken 1. Open System Pref-Sharing-check printer sharing and firewall is off. When I go into Finder and click on Network I have a folder that says Mshome (which is the name of my printer) I open the folder and my notebook name appears but not the Dell Demension (where the printer is connected) How do I get my Dell to share the printer with the iMac? Please help

Add the AppleTalk protocol to the NIC on the Dell machine.  The Mac is seeing the Dell thru TCP/IP but they can not communicate becasue of the lack of the AppleTalk protocol.
