Pre-logon Connection

I have installed the dell software for a Latitude D610 and I am having the problem when I am trying to log onto a network with it, it says the domain is not there. Now I know why this is, and it is because the wireless isn't grabbing a IP from the AP. I went through and installed the pre-logon connection in the dell software and rebooted and got the same thing. Anyone here know why that is?

Without PROSet there is no way to do a pre-logon connection.

See I tryed that and I still had some problems. I just desided I was going to re make the image without useing the proset wireless and see what happens.

I'm assuming you are using the Intel PROSet Wireless? In order to do the pre-login connection you must also install the Admin Tool. From the Admin Tool you can create pre-login profiles that will allow you to logon to your domain wirelessly.

From the manual:

should by default beable to connect once it finds a connection, but if there is more then one there would be a problem. Atleast that is what I have been told.

I say that because you have two options for managing your wireless adapter, Intel PROSet or Windows Zero Config. The only one of the two that supports pre-logon connections is PROSet, WZC does not.
