Problems in Wireless and Bluetooth after update.
Hey there!
I just bought an Inspiron N3010 laptop with Windows 7 64-bit 2 days ago, and installed the updated drivers (Bios, Network...) from your support site.
While doing that, the Bluetooth update was not properly installed. I restarted the computer and the OS tried to repair itself for few times, until i chose the system restoration option (from Windows)...
After that, the bluetooth is not connecting to any other gadget although listed as "properly installed " on the device manager. The downgrade driver option is unavailable.
Another problem that happened after the update is that the Wireless network connection list is much shorter then before.
Can i restore the original drivers and cancel the update, or can I fix it? (and how)
Hope the description of the problem was understood...
Avihay.

Avihay,
Windows 7 makes a system restore point, every time you start the computer. You can try using system restore first.
Did you create disks?

Avihay,
Did you try the Bluetooth Software from Broadcom?

Rick,
First, thank you for answering so fast.
I tried the Broadcom Software now, and i got the next massege:
"This program cannot upgrade your software. Please contact the manufacturer of your Bluethooth device for support."
It failed on the first test: Detect Bluetooth Device.
I didn't create any system restore discs.
Do you think that restore everything from the Boot option will solve the problem?

Avihay,
You can still make the disks, recommended.

Rick,
I'm working on changing the user name...
The Bluetooth driver you reccomend is fo N5010, and mine is N3010. Is it ok to use?

Avihay,
Try THESE BLUETOOTH DRIVERS.
If you create a new account, make a new thread in the Networking forum. Post will probably be remove Monday, unless someone figures it out sooner.
