Problems with firewire 1394 net adapter

​Hi!​

​Can sombody help please i just cant get work normaly my firewire device ​

​Laptop: dell studio 1537​

​computer is for windows vista home basic but with this windows i cant find any way to get connected with another computer (1394 net adapter dont shows up in network connections but all drivers are installed)​

​whenn i installed windows xp pro updated to sp3 i have the port in my device manager but with problems and it dont shows up in network connections​

​i have tried to download difrent .inf drivers for the net adapter 1394 but no one havent work yet​

​I have read a difrent topics about firewire device but didnt find any help​

​can sombody give some advice to got it work normaly or some topic where to get help​
