To start Remote Access Auto Connection Manager

  1. Open Computer Management.
  2. In the console tree, click Services.

    Where?

    • Computer Management
    • Services and Applications
    • Services
  3. In the details pane, right-click Remote Access Auto Connection Manager, and then click Start.

Under the Status column, Started appears.

Notes

  • To open Computer Management, click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.
  • Remote Access Auto Connection Manager is on by default in Windows XP Professional computers that are not members of a domain and in Windows XP Home Edition.
