My manager acquired a private line to directly link two sites for our backup devices. Since both devices only have one network port, they are just linked to our network. Today we connected and set up the private line in the X2 port at one site, and X3 at the other, setting up routing protocols to use that interface to send the traffic. 

both interfaces are set up as a separate zone with the IP addresses of 10.0.100.1-2

I'm not sure what other information i should provide but i included a basic map of the network and a screenshot of the routing settings my manager set up.

Edit: 

Some added information about our issue, private line is able to get traffic through, its noticable and we can ping the other end's IP, but when the backup starts, it doesn't route traffic through to the private line.
