Speed Test of wired vs wireless
Hi all, I have an Inspiron 5150 with a tm 1300. I also have a linksys wrt 54g router Im using wpa incription. here is the thing. when i goto
www.broadbandreports.com and test my wireless connection I get about 1.5 mps download speed but when I test it on my wired its like almost 3 mps! Can anyone tell me why this is? my connection strength is excellent at 54 mps. Anyone else have this problem?

Distance from the router could cause some latency, but 1.5 Mbps for wireless isn't too bad. The 54Mbps figure is the speed for your internal LAN only.
We are all getting spoiled by highspeed!
