WiFi breaks while uploading

Hello everyone, I'm having a persistent issue with my Dell laptop's WiFi, and I hope someone here can help. Whenever I start uploading a video to YouTube, my WiFi connection drops, and the internet connection icon switches to a globe, indicating no internet access. Despite this, I'm still able to log in to my router, so the connection to the router itself seems fine. To resolve the issue, I have to restart both the laptop and the router, which is quite inconvenient. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Updated WiFi Drivers: Installed the latest drivers from Dell's official website. After this, the internet connection icon shows the connection as established, but the issue with disconnections during uploads persists. Tested Other Devices: I checked the router with other devices, and they all maintain strong and stable connections during uploads, which suggests the issue is isolated to my laptop. Connected to a Different Router: I tried connecting my laptop to a different router, but the problem continued, indicating it's likely a problem with the laptop itself. Checked with Other Services: Interestingly, the issue only occurs when uploading to Google services. I’ve tried uploading to OneDrive (both via the app and web browser), and it works perfectly without any connection drops. However, uploading to Google Drive causes the same disconnection as YouTube. The issue similar to this was reported few years back with Inspiron 9300 (‎Wi-fi disconnects when uploading large files on a network drive | DELL Technologies) My is Latitude 3540 with Realtek RTL8852BE network card. Is this new(er) Latitude 3540 or the old Latitude 3540 (End of Life)?

Odd that it's only with Google's sites and services...

Have you checked the Windows power settings for the WiFi card? In Device Manager, open the entry for the WiFi card. Click its Power Management tab and uncheck the box "allow PC to turn off..." Then exit DM.

Next, navigate to the Advanced power settings screen for the active power plan. How you get there depends on version of Window.

On that screen, disable USB Selective Suspend, Hybrid Sleep, hibernation and PCI Express Link State Management. On same screen, set Wireless Performance to Max Performance. Save the changes to power plan and reboot.

See if these changes help.

NOTE: Changing those power plan settings may affect battery use so you might have to recharge somewhat more frequently...
