Windows 7 and Bluetooth

Can anybody help please.

I'm running an XPS 420 desktop purchased direct from Dell.

I recently upgraded the original OP - Vista - to Windows 7 Home Premium.

Along with several minor post-upgrade blips I have lost Blutooth functionality.

This is particularly annoying because I've had to buy a USB keyboard and USB mouse just to use the PC.

The internet is crammed with posts of possible solutions but unfortunately none have worked on a permanent basis.

Dell support is useless because you are just sent around and around in circles and frankly the company don't seem to care once they have your money.

Has anyone experienced this problem and been able to fix it?

Regards

I am having the exact same problem and Dell doesn't help.  If anyone has a solution, I would mucho appreciate it (in simple language). I have tried to download new drivers, but I can't download ANY drivers, on the driver manager that tells me I don't have any drivers to download..  Thanks!  Karr

Your problem sounds the same as mine. It's still not resolved. Dell is useless and what's worse, uncaring.

My own solution was to plug in a USB Bluetooth dongle. It works perfectly with my Dell Keyboard and Mouse.

Probably not the answer you wanted but in the absence of any assistance from Dell its the best I can offer.

Regards

Leigh
