Wireless authentication on logon

Question

I use Odyssey Client to manage my wireless internet, but MS Windows will also pick up the signal.   In the middle of the night, something happened so that it no longer works. Windows picks up the signal, but Odyssey is 'waiting for keys'. (I cannot connect to the internet.)   As a result, it seems to have messed up a lot of my computer.   When I log on (which I never had to do before), it says that it's waiting for 803.1x authentication for my wireless.   I tried to change it so that I don't have to logon (which I didn't used to have to), but it says that a program has recently been installed so that I can't change the Welcome screen, but that BCMLogon.dll is affected.   Is this a virus?   Please help. Thanks.

Sounds like the Access Point has changed - encryption enabled.  If it is yours it has been compromised.  If it is someone else's, they got wise to someone 'borrowing' their connection.  If it is your ISP, then you need to ask them.
