Wireless for Small Office (20 People)

I am running a number of Dell Laptops on a small office network. I also run some Dell 1700n printers. Everything works quite well when hard wired to the network but my Wireless hub (Currently a rather cheap Linksys), never seems to solidly connect. Can anyone recommend a router that will allow solid (encrypted) wireless access. I am also located in a rather busy area on NYC and I am wondering should that make a difference. My router is located in a room seperate from where it is accessed. Would an antenna help?

Thanks....

D.

PS: Ocasionally people have Apple laptoips also.... sorry.

Make sure the router is up high and away from any metal - remember commercial buildings are built with metal studs in the wall so moving the router inches can affect the pattern and range.  Try moving to channel 1 or 11 on the router.  Also if you are in NYC, anything you do to secure the integrity of your network short of wired can be hacked.
