Did you have a wireless nework connection before and it just stopped working? Have you tried disabling the security features of the router as a troubleshooting step? Does the wireless network adapter show up in Device Manager?
Thanks so much for your help,Steve. but actually the problem started when i got rid of a virus from my computer. a lot of my programs were deleted, and when i reinstalled everything, the wireless network was also reinstalled, correctly this time. this fixed the problem. thanks again for the help
