WZC help

Question

Whenever i try to set up a wireless connction it says:   Windows cannot configure this wireless connection If you have enabled another program to manage this wireless connection, use that software. If you want to configure this wireless connevtion start the WZC service.   Any help would be appreciated oh yea I am using a dell inspiron notebook. Message Edited by Jay_Lugo on 01-15-200707:11 PM

By default, any third party wireless utiilyt will disable the WZC Service.  You are better off running the windows service but it first take an uninstall on the other application.

You could start the WZC by going to start - run and then type services.msc on the  run box it will show services open. scroll on the very bottom and look for the wireless zero configuration and then right click on it and then click on start. after doing this go to start and then all programs look for the dell WLAN and open it. look for the wireless networks tab and make sure that you uncheck the box  that says use this client utility. click ok....
