7010, updating BIOS
I have a few questions regarding the BIOS for my OptiPlex 7010. 1) The latest BIOS update for my OptiPlex 7010 is O7010A29. I download the file, and it appears to install, but I don't think it is actually installing. How can I confirm what BIOS is currently installed on my computer? 2) What steps can I take to successfully update my BIOS?

Her PC has 8 BG of RAM. It had 12 GB, but I asked my cousin to remove 4 GB (two 2 GB DIMMs) because they weren't the same brand and, as a result, were causing crashes after which it would be very difficult to get the PC to restart.
