Go to SolutionBIOS Date and time change
I had this error message when I turn my Dell OptiPlex 3080MT on, invalid configuration information, the time of day not set run set up program, I checked BIOS set up it shows date incorrect, I adjust date and time but no option to save changes just option to exit, on selecting exit, PC boots up and run fine, but again on starting it the same error occurs.
What shall I do? why this happens?

Usual thing is the small coin cell CMOS battery needs replacing.
They cost a coupla quid.
