Dell OptiPlex 7010 CPU upgrade
hey Everybody,
I have a Dell Optiplex 2015 just wondering, it runs i5 Processor planning to switch to an AMD Ryzen 4-8 cores Processor just wonder if it's compatible with the mother borad.

Hello, AMD processors are not compatible with intel motherboards and cpus are usually not compatible over different generations either.

7010 has Intel Q77 chipset, ivy bridge, 3rd gen core i7/5/3 cpu (+ pentium or celeton) top cpu upgrade is i7-3770. both i7 and i5 in this gen are 4 core.
socket is lga1155. incompatible with 4+ gen Intel cpu.
