Previous Optiplex 755:
I didn't like all of the flat black. So besides painting the front bezel, the gray top was for a GX620. Only had to cut 1 tab to make it fit. The 2-tone effect with the black back latch was neat. I originally tried painting the black top, but the spray paint I just bought was bad and difficult to sand; and it wasn't the 97¢ stuff.
You'll be able to tell by my wiring I hadn't yet discovered a power rail with multiple SATA outlets that's more like an outlet strip. Blue l.e.d. fans had 4-pin molex connections and were plugged in with splitters and adapters. If I remember right, the USB 3.0 card also plugged into power via molex 4-pin. And it all worked.
That was the largest heatsink Dell ever put in an Optiplex.

Hi @Dell-Jordan,
Hopefully I'm replying in the right place.
Optiplex 7010:
Everything you see is hooked together and centers around music. Technics tape deck is hooked to the PC. Though rare now, I can use studio recording software (nothing too fancy) to record off of the tape deck. From there, I can turn the recorded songs into .wav, mp3, etc.
On top of the tape deck is an FM transmitter. When I use it, I can play music through another stereo in my apt. Signal easily reaches my truck outside.
I'd prefer to have a bigger main stereo, or at least blast the one I have on occasion which packs a punch for it's size (nice bass), but I live in an apt. I use BT headphones when I want my music louder.
A couple of previous photos:
I didn't like only 2 screws lining up for the fan, so it's lightly super-glued in place. You might notice they're gone in the 2nd photo.

I also have an Optiplex 790 DT; Win 7 32-bit; i3-2100; 250 GB HDD; 4GB RAM. Also a Dell 20" monitor, and the monitor I use on the 7010 is a Dell 20".
I use it for some backup and to run older 32-bt software that 64-bit Win10 (Pro) doesn't run.
