External mic connection Optiplex 7440 AIO
Hello, is there a way to connect an external mic to my Dell All-in-One? There is a port on the back of the computer that looks like is for the mic but the icon isn't shaped like a microphone. I connected a mic to it but it's not working. And, if not for a mic can you tell me what the lower icon means? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

7440 has built in mic per spec

@redxps630 So, I guess there isn't a mic jack. I'm doing an online course and it occasionally has me speak a sentence. Well, thank you. I appreciate your help.
