Optiplex 390 GPU Upgrade - will this work?
Hello, I purchased an old tower from my work and all is working well, however, I'd like to do some more advanced gaming, like Cities Skylines, XBox Remote Play etc., and the GPU can't really cope.
It's an Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz
I also managed to procure some additional RAM from my IT guys so it now has 16.0GB
They also managed to upgrade the GPU from 512MB to AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series at 1GB.
I'd like to upgrade this to maybe 2 or even 4GB, but I'm unsure what I should be looking for.
I'm hoping someone can help with what I'd need to look for on Amazon etc. There are quite a lot of variables when it comes to this sort of thing and I'd rather not waste a bunch of money on something that isn't compatible.
Oh, also, my monitor is 1920x1080, non-HDR, connected via VGA.
I was looking on CEX's website for a second-hand one and saw this: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 4GB for £45 - will that work?
Many thanks in advance!

re: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz
this cpu is too weak for gaming. it is only 2 core. consider upgrade to i5-2500 or i7-2600.
for the 1st game you mentioned, system requirements are
you would need to upgrade psu to have one to two 6 pin PCIe to support either video card.
since you have a 390 tower (MT), it is easy to upgrade to Dell 460W psu for XPS 8300/8500 etc.

No because ALL GPU's are more expensive than that.
GT630 is too old and too slow to be of any use.

Thanks to you both for the responses, looks like I've got a few upgrades to make then.
