This system does not support TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot and being a generation 2 CPU is not supported on Windows 11. Users may be running Windows 11 on this platform as an unsupported installation but MS has set the parameters for Windows 11 and this system does not meet those parameters. And Dell will not be issuing an updated BIOS for systems that do not now meet the Windows 11 specs. Keep in mind that MS has clearly stated that down the line they will be pulling any updates or further support for systems that do not meet their specs. So one of these days Windows 11 could end up not running on those systems forcing a reinstallation of Windows 10. They have not specified when this will happen but have said it will happen. It is MS world we just run our computers in it.

Glad to help out. Windows 10 is still a very stable platform and will be supported until 2025. By that time you may be ready to invest in a new system that supports Windows 11. Of course that assumes MS does not release another OS that has additional requirements.
