Repeated RAM POST-ing

Ok so I was recently handed a Dell Optiplex 380 and decided that I would put my 8gb DDR3 ram stick into it and remove the old one and it just kept beeping, so I flashed the bios to AO7 and tried again. Nothing. I am losing my mind and my finger is starting to hurt based on how many times I have I inserted the sticks

That system has 2 DIMM slots using DDR3 1066 RAM. The most you can install is 4 GB which is 2 x 2GB. The 8 GB modules will not work. That is per the Dell specs. However Crucial states that you can use DDR3L 1600 RAM modules but the maximum per Crucial is 8 GB which is 2 x 4 GB RAM modules. Either way the 8 GB RAM module will not work. I am not sure which form factor you have but they all seem to have the same limitation.
