We can expect VFCache in its split card mode can be used to host Oracle DB Smart Flash Cache. As I knew, the test is still on the way. But it is assumed to come by end of quater. I will update you if got any information.
For the solution described in this white paper, EMC tested the ability of VFCache to improve the performance of a targeted database in order to meet aggressive SLA goals. With both VFCache and FAST VP enabled, we observed a performance improvement of 330 percent for targeted database.
