Oracle E-Business 8 under Vmware and VNX
Hi all,
My companie uses Oracle E-Business 8 application in RAC mode with ASM on a CX4-120 storage array and Physical machines.
I would like to now if someone already installed E-Business 8 under virtual machine and if the performances are good ????
In fact, all tests we made under VMware, Xen, Oracle VM seem's show us bad performances but maybe we forgot tunning options ...
We are currently changing our CX4-120 for a VNX5300 with SSD,fastCache and tiering hoping it will help us to get better perfs.

Hi, David.
In addition to Dave O's white papers, here's a document that describes using eBusiness Suite with Recoverpoint to create virtualized test and development environments. I recognize that it's not exactly the same as what you're looking for (since the solution is a physical production server that populates virtualized test and development instances) but I thought the stuff on page 24 (all about setting up the virtual machines) might be of use to you.
