4600 Memory problems
I know that I have a memory problem because I can't get through the memory diagnostics without filling up the error log and the test terminating. I've reseated the memory and repositioned it to no avail. There is 1 gig of memory on four 256mb chips on two cards. Anyone have any pointers to help me out. I've contacted Dell but they want specifics before they will send out new memory on the warrantied machine. Thanks.

Hi,
If this is Dell memory and you have reseated the memory and risers and the system failed the memory diagnostics, technical support should set up the service immediately.
