Dell T140 SATA cable
Good morning
I have a Dell T140 with H330 controller and 2 HDD installed.
The H330 controller is not mandatory for the T140, since the motherboard has a SATA port, so che H330 is optional.
I would like to REMOVE the H330 and connect the HDD to the SATA port of the motherboard.
Unfortunately the connector of the H330 is different than the one of the motherboard.
I really CAN NOT find any information about what type of cable do I need to use the motherboard SATA port.
thanks.

many thanks,
I had a look at GVDN3 and it seems to be a data only cable.
I try to explain: the cable that today connects the HDDs to the H330 has both data and power.
If I remove the cable I am using, I can not only replace it with the GVDN3.
And moreover I can not continue to use the cable I have today for power only, since on the HDd side there is just one connector for data+power

Hello R4nger,
I think you probably will get a better answer from the commercial department as we are technical support and our data could not be accurate. You can either search for this part on the Parts & Upgrades web or contact a local partner.
Regards.

Steff70,
The cable needed to run the drive to the motherboard is part # GVDN3.
Let me know if this helps.
