IDSDM compatability
Hello all,
I was curious as to whether the IDSDM model PMR79 designed for x30 servers can also be used used whith x20 servers. Thanks.

R730 support IDSDM with part number PMR79. R720xd and R420 support IDSDM with part number 6YFN5.
R230 does not support IDSDM module that is why there is no slot to connect IDSDM on the board.

IDSDM model PMR79 is only supported on 13th (X30) generation of PowerEdge servers. For 12th generation (X20) of PowerEdge server you need to use part 6YFN5. Let me know for which server model in 12th generation you are looking for IDSDM module so that I can confirm whether 6YFN5 is supported on that server.

Thanks. I have a r230, r730, r720xd, and r420. Also I could not locate a place on the r230 for this module.
