Is my CPU 64-bit?
Is there a Dell list by CPU number (ie E5310) that tells me if my CPU is 32-bit or 64-bit? I've got a few 2950's I want to use for Vmware and I'm finding that some are 32-bit and some are 64-bit. i want to make sure I don't mix them in the same cluster. i've got the packing slips for each one.

To run x64 Virtual machines in Hyper-V or ESX (probably Xen too) though you need to go into the bios and turn on the virtualization technology.

This document will help you understand which server models and which processors support 64-bit VM. It also has information about VMotion compatibility: http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/solutions/vmotion_compatibility_matix.pdf

You could use the Intel Processor Identification utility as one option. One of its capabilities is determining whether 64-bit support is available.
