Poweredge 1900 0.9V Over Voltage
Hello,
I have a Dell Poweredge 1900 Server that is giving me the error message E122B 0.9V Over Voltage. I am thinking of hanging the power supply. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you resolve it?
Error E122B = 0.9 V regulator voltage has exceeded the allowable voltage range

Hi Martin
Please perform a power cycle on the server.
Power cycle - shutdown the server, remove the power cord(s), hold and press the power button for 30seconds.
Power up the server again and see how it goes. If the error persist, please capture the DSET report and email it to me for analysis.

I tried doing a Power Cycle. It did not do anything. As for the logs I cannot access them. When the server is connected I press the power button and the fans starts for about 1 sec then stops with the error described in my initla Post.

Hi Martin
If this is the case, the issue most likely will be either the processor(s) or the motherboard.
So basically, the server is not posting? Do you have video on your monitor screen? Is it possible to perform the 32bits Dell diagnostics?
If it is not possible to run the diagnostics, you may try to reseat the processor(s) and see how it goes.

No I do not get any video on the screen. I don't think any kind of diagnostic is available as it just powers down after 1 second.
I guess I will have to change the Motherboard and see it that fixes the issue. If not then I will go with the processor as suggested. :-(
