PowerEdge Open Manage CPU & Voltage Errors
Dell PowerEdge T420 I have errors in Open Manage on Dell PowerEdge T420 that I can't identify. Not sure if it's telling me the power supply, the CPU or the board needs to be replaced, or if these error can just be cleared and tests re-ran to see if they appear again. The server is out-of-warranty. The likely cause of the errors was an employee accidentally dislodging the power supply cable from one of the power supplies ever so slightly causing the server not to receive full power and operate slowly. The power cords have since been reseated and the server is running normally. There is still a red x under Voltage Probes section of Open Manage: System Board PS1 PG Fail: (Reading:Bad) PS2 PG Fail: (Reading: Bad). Also the red x under CPU reveals a 'Critical Status: State: iErr. Can someone tell me what these mean?

Hello
You may need to clear the hardware log to get rid of errors. An improper shutdown, like pulling the power cables, will usually result in voltage and other critical errors.
The hardware log is maintained by the iDRAC/BMC. You can clear the log from several iDRAC interfaces and management applications. There is a log section in the iDRAC web server, there should be a clear option for the system log. Documentation can be found on the iDRAC support page and system support page.

Actually I swapped the power supplies with each other and all errors were cleared.
