Well haven't got it yet but was looking at some Dell refurb memory.   Don't have the part number but it's DDR3-1333 MHz PC3-10600R ECC memory if that helps.

You can go as high as 384GB for R710 and R610 by using 12 x 32GB DIMMs, but for 2DPC (2 Dimms per channel), memory bandwidth will drop to 1066Mhz

Will this ram work in the R710?    D3-60MM104SV-999

or this

Hello the part you mentioned, 
(Memory1 Up to 288GB (18 DIMM slots): 1GB/2GB/4GB/8GB/16GB DDR3 up to 1333MT/s)
Dell does not have those, I'm afraid.
The parts we do have is already all mentioned by Shine in the previous posts.

I understand but will they work in it?  I am trying to keep cost down with used RAM. Dell ram is $$$$$$

Hello,

 

The memory you poste : DDR3 16GB 2Rx4 PC3L-10600R RDIMM ECC Server Memory RAM, "may work".

We cannot guarantee it as it is not a Dell validated DIMM.

Previously listed in the thread were DIMMs we have validated.

 

Be sure to follow the memory guidelines for the R710
