Searching for Longer SAS backplane cable.
I have a PowerEdge R310 that I'm converting to a TrueNAS server. I've replaced the existing PERC S300 which will not work with TrueNAS with an H310 HBA card. I need a version of the 0N262J cable as that one is too short to reach the HBA when it's in the Riser card in the back corner (back left if you are looking at the back of the server.
The existing cable, 0D228N has a 90 degree connector at the board which will not work either as the H310 board needs a straight 8087 connection.
So basically I'm looking for a part number that is a longer version of the 0N262J cable, hopefully that's not mixed up.

Hell, thanks for choosing Dell. From what I see, attached image is what you are looking for, however we don’t have them in stock. Sorry I can’t be of help this time.

Hi thank you. Do you have a model # or listing that I can search for one on another site like eBay or Amazon? I'd really like to repurpose this server and am dead in the water without a cable that fits.

PCTDJH,
The part number for the cable that Young provided is part number N262J.
Let me know if this helps.

Yea, that's the same one I referenced in my original post. I'm looking for a different version that has the same connections but is longer. That cable will not reach the riser in the back (left if you are facing the back of the server). I need another 3-6 inch cable with the same connectors.

PCTDJN,
The only ones I am seeing are the 2 you referenced in your original posting, so I am not sure if it is due to routing or not, or that you are installing the card where it can't reach. We can continue to look into it, but I don't think there is a supported cable for the R310 to do it.
I will let you know if I find something.
