Hello,
You can install the OS by booting into Lifecycle controller <F10> and use the OS Deploy wizard.
Your PowerEdge R520 supports these operating systems:

Why do you think your R520 havent integrated GPU? The R520 comes with a VGA port, so just plugin a Monitor.

Joerg

The R520 have a "onboard" 2D Matrox® G200 GFX with 16MB FrameBuffer which support a 1280x1024 resolution. Thats what the VGA port is connected too.

Hello,
To use the LifeCycle controller you need to directly connect a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Try a different vga cable and a different monitor and see if that helps.
Has this server ever worked?
If so; what was done on the server around the time it quit working?

@DELL-Charles R
how can i use onboard GPU, i tried to use both vga ports(wit) and no signal (i don't have 1280x1024 monitor only 2560x1440 SDR).
Server worked, i had access to virtual console but license expired (i found some trial enterprise key)

Hello, I would ask if you could use a monitor that is of a little lower resolution? ( with an RGB VGA port)
And can you also try to connect to the front?
This model does not have an HDMI port.

Hi,
As I can see it's already have many posts on the thread. Unfortunately, we haven't had a chance to try that adapter. Honestly, I would expect it might be running. Because it just converts analog to digital signal. However, let's see how our community shares their experience.
